Walk into any toy store or craft retailer and you will find “hand on” crafts that will allow you to paint, sticker, color, marker, gem, or assemble a unique work of art that you can call your own. The problem is, once you start there is no undo button or a way to pre-visualize what you’re going to create.

Popar’s unique gaming division came up with a 3D pre visualization tool that will allow customers to scan there products from Masterpiece called the “Works of AHHH!” and the 3D wooden model would come to life in the app. Thus kids could explore painting different colors, even mixing of colors, attaching gems, using stickers and even applying stencils. They can then save their work and even share their work on social media programs such as Facebook and Twitter getting feedback and recommendations for the final real project. This added value to the physical product presented more value than the competitors other craft style products in this very competitive landscape and thus got more product placement on shelves.

MasterPieces Puzzle Company was already successful at delivering their products to their customers but they knew that the digital mobile revolution was whittling away at their profit margins. Popar was brought on board and we believed that in our digital age, the puzzles needed to be mobile, fun, and accessible! Popar came up with a solution that would keep the current market intact and would expand it by developing new, fun and exciting ways to interact with the MasterPieces puzzles. The only thing customers needed to do was simply download the MasterPieces Jigsaw Puzzle App onto their mobile smart device or tablet and they could instantly play and enjoy digital versions of the award-winning images from various collections in the MasterPieces puzzle line.

If customers buy the actual, physical puzzle they can then use the app to scan the front of the box and unlock a plethora of new BONUS content, features, and it even unlocks a community that allows customers to connect with each other and showcase their fastest completion times, which they can then post onto their favorite social media networks. Retailers and manufacturers love this product because it can add value without taking up more room on their shelves and because it connects all of their customers together into one large community. The customers love this product because they can finally enjoy puzzles from anywhere!
